Commercial Photographer

Mick Bell started his interest in Photography over 25 years ago. After several years traveling the world and photographing as a hobby he decided to study photography, returning to Australia in 1993. He has worked and run his own business since then as well as working freelance for Rural Press and Fairfax Newspapers in his early years, photographing action, feature and news. It was during this time at Rural press where he first had his chance to photograph equestrian events. Since then he has had a long career in commercial photography including several years working out of Singapore. Currently he lectures and runs photographic workshops while continuing his commercial business

Mick Bell lives with his partner, several horse and dogs (and about 100 kangaroos!) on 25 acres in Thirlmere NSW. His interest in equestrian photography continues with his partners and friends participation in endurance riding and events

Mick Bell continues with his passion for documentary photography when time permits as well as doing advertising and corporate work. One of the highlights of his carreer was getting the opportunity to photograph the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

He welcomes the opportunity for new adventures and the photographic chances they bring.
